Originally developed in the 1970s to overmold wires and cables for the automotive industry, low pressure molding has now solidified itself into all markets, including submerged marine electronics to sensitive medical and automotive sensors. Specialized equipment, engineered tools and specifically formulated materials are required to protect these parts; this is where LPMS provides the greatest value into your production.
LPMS is the largest, global low pressure molding equipment provider. To meet the growing demand, LPMS USA was established in Chicago in 2014 and leads the industry with more than 10 standard platforms – from low-volume R&D to high-volume production. Each platform can also be customized to meet customer and production requirements. LPMS USA is the largest stocking-equipment provider in North America.
In addition to equipment, we offer a complete turnkey solution, including collaborative engineering to design, develop and manufacture prototype and production tools, full-service contract manufacturing, and material selection and distribution. LPMS USA is a veteran-owned company and ITAR compliant.
LPMS USA – Led by expertise
More than 18 years ago, Betti and Pierce met at a customer site, where each sold competing encapsulation technologies for different business units within Henkel Adhesive Technologies. Pierce promoted low pressure molding materials and won the business. Soon after, Betti introduced Pierce to the electronics team at Henkel, and the two have had a long-lasting friendship ever since.

Brian Betti
Brian Betti has been in the electronics industry for 25 years — 18 of which have been at Henkel — in several roles, including sales, business management and global business development. Over the last 16 years, Betti has been closely involved with low pressure molding, promoting the innovative technology solution.
Vice President
Michael Pierce
Michael Pierce, a chemist, started his Henkel career in the hot melt industry manufacturing plants as a process engineer before moving into product development. In 2004, he transitioned into a sales role within Henkel’s electronics business, focusing on the TECHNOMELT line of low pressure molding materials.

LPMS History
In 2014, LPMS USA was established to provide US-based solutions currently offered from Low Pressure Molding Systems (LPMS) International, which was founded in 2004.
